Melbourne is where we used live, right in the middle of the city. Next to us is this large glass and steel cone, which is the top of a shopping centre. It was built to enclose a heritage-protected tower. Go figure.

We were only a few blocks away from BCG (centre of the pic, behind the Deathstar-style tower) and Lucy's former university, RMIT. Also close at hand are a collection of great restaurants and bars, including: Vis, Ezard, Num Fong, the Hairy Canary, the Kitten Club, the Melbourne Supper Club, the Nudel Bar, Becco, Kuni's - all worth checking out if you don't know them already. |
